Autumn 2009, Root Deity Poems
Summer Stood Naked
Summer stood naked but for glimpse of my eye
Summer stood naked but for glimpse of my eye
Whilst changing to Autumn gown in harvest grown high
Her strawberry blond hair a turned unto gold
In cascading riverlets that flowed to my soul
With a whisper lost passion of leaf weeping trees
An embrace all around of her touch on the breeze
And a Blackberry taste the kiss of her lips
A moment to linger I'll never forget.
