It gave me pause to think of all that had transpired between their life and mine.
Like standing in one spot on Earth thinking of all that is going on in the world at that very same moment - across continents and oceans and deserts.

Through a series of castings and rewrites, one script grew into two and then into three - and PURGATORY and NEPTUNE joined TITANIA to form The Medisaga Trilogy. In the end I held a remarkable story of healing in my hands.

Titania's estate sits at the top of a hill, surrounded by sloping valleys and dense forests, looking out over the ocean and its endless horizon. An enchanted prison for our fairy queen, yet a sanctuary to others.

There is a painting by John William Waterhouse that shows the Fate who measures the thread of life tangled in the strand, looking tentative and uncertain, unwillingly bound by the thread. The Fates in trilogy keep close watch over Titania's journey, watching her make decisions that lead her toward them, and others that lead her away.

Historically, it seems that the greatest lovers in literature had tragedy entwining their hearts: Romeo and Juliet, Anthony and Cleopatra, Arthur and Guinevere... But tragedy is not something that comes readily to mind when we think of Shakespeare's riotous couple of Titania and Oberon.

I started writing TITANIA almost five years ago. And have, every day since, worked hard to get this film made. That's about average for those who decide to go the independent film route and maintain creative control of their work.
