As we got to the waters edge there was an unusual noise. It was the broken pieces of ice washing ashore. It sounded so different, like shells being tumbled.

Bailey, my young Cocker Spaniel, is my companion. His pedigree name is Silver Knight and he has definitely been my knight in shining armour. He has been on journeys with me to the darkest of places and seen some very scary sights. The most evil of Queens and ugliest goblins! But he has always stayed true and brave. He never left my side and we came through it together, out into the light. I owe him so much.
Bailey will always stand his ground and never show fear. He is very stubborn and knows his own mind. When not on missions he loves to have fun playing games like hide and seek and chase. He loves cuddles and will shower you in kisses.”

I was asked earlier in the year if I would attend a friend's wedding in Lindos on the island of Rhodes, Greece. How could I refuse? I have visited this most beautiful part of the world before and as always become enchanted by its beauty and medieval presence.
The Ancient Oak Grove of Cailleach

It was a lovely sunny day and we thought it was the perfect day to go in search of the ancient oak trees at Chatelherault. We have been there a few times before and have always really enjoyed it. Chatelherault is a 500 acre country park in Hamilton, Scotland, built 250 years ago as the hunting lodge and summerhouse for the Dukes of Hamilton.

It is the time when the bluebells are out in full bloom. Always my favourite flower, they have held magick for me and when I walk amongst them I feel at home, contented to the core. I had decided that I would make an annual pilgrimage to Aberfoyle's faerie tree when the bluebells were out.

The journey took us through the Trossachs, which is wild with an array of colour from burnt oranges, reds aglow with the morning sun, and golden yellows. The mountains, which surround us on the road, cocoon us on our journey separating us off from the noisy chaotic world. Here you can breathe clean fresh air that fills your soul and makes your heart sing. The journey is enough to heal you from your heavy burdens of life
